3H(Shanghai) Petroleum Equipment Co., Ltd (3HEPC) is a Sino-US joint venture company, incorporated in August 2001. Seeking for three high levels in technology, quality and efficiency, the company engages in rig assembling, rig components, designing and manufacturing of electrical transmission control system, technology development of drilling rig system, as well as manufacturing of general electrical control system. Adhering to the concept of “human oriented” and the enterprise spirit of “dedication, innovation and perfection”, company actively brings in senior talents, constantly initiates technology transformation and innovation, which keeps the designing and manufacturing of rigs being in the advanced levels. So far, more than 230 staffs work in the company, including 148 technical engineers, (41 seniors out of them), all with rich experience in rig equipments designing, manufacturing, installation and commissioning.
In technological innovation, on one hand, the company vigorously encourages the staffs on technology development and innovation, and develops exclusive intellectual property patents. (By far, the company owns 15 patents with fully exclusive intellectual property rights.) On the other hand, the company cooperates with other enterprises with strong technical strength to exploit rig technology. Currently, the company has cooperated with ABB company, one of the world's Top 500, to develop rig electric transmission system.
In addition, relying on Shanghai's advantages of talents and technology, the company works together with tertiary institutions and scientific research institutes to develop new products. In 2006, the company has successfully developed the dynamic brake system through cooperation with Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The project was national innovation funded and now is granted patents for invention.
Good quality of product is vital for company. The company always takes quality as fundamental for the development of enterprise. By introduced the ISO9001 QC system, the company has increased dramatically in quality management and product quality output. Due to strict QC system and good product quality, the 3HPEC products obtained good reputation from CNPC, Sinopec and their oilfield users. In recent years, the company smoothly penetrated international market and flourished the rig export business. Now, the 3HPEC rigs have been distributed in America, Africa, West Asia and other major oil producing countries.
High efficiency: the company management emphasis on the implementation of efficiency, so as to gain benefits by high-efficiency. Since foundation, the company has produced and marketed more than 80 rigs, ranked the No.4 in the domestic rig manufacturing industry.
