Brigadier H.E Brig-Gen Than Htay, the First Deputy Minister of Myanmar DOE, other
officers of Myanmar DOE and the representatives of Myanmar Oil & Gas Enterprise (MOGE),
accompanied by the leaders of CNPC Foreign Affaires Office and Wang Shihong, the Presi-
dent of China Huanqiu Contracting & Engineering Corp. (HQCEC), visited our company On
18th October.
      Accompanied by our company’s leaders, Brigadier Than Htay and other guests chec-
ked two ZJ50D rigs for Myanmar, which the first rig has accomplished lifting test in S-
eptember and is going to be delivered and the second one is in the progress of being a-
ssembled.
      On the working yard, the delegation often asked questions about the design princ-
iples and manufacture technology and listened to our engineers’ explanations with gre-
at attention. Mr. Than Htay nodded with smile to show his appreciation on our company’s
ability. Moreover, the regular arrangement of rig spare parts, the splendid appearance of
excellent products and the orderly operation of the workers impressed them a lot.
      Brigadier Than Htay fully recognized our company’s design and manufacture ability
and sincerely believe that our company would achieve the two-rig project for Myanmar p-
erfectly. The delegation also discussed the future cooperation with our company’s rel-
evant leaders.
